The Legacy of Educational Excellence

Establishment: Shadan College of Engineering and Technology (SCET) was established in 1995 by the Shadan Educational Society (SES).

Founder: The society was founded under the guidance of Dr. Mohd Vizarath Rasool Khan, an educationist who led several initiatives to promote minority education.

Location: SCET is located on Himayath Sagar Road, Peerancheru, Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

Significance: It is a minority engineering college and was the first minority engineering college affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH) in 1995.

Visionary Leader and Educationist

Profile: Dr. Mohammed Vizarath Rasool Khan was a renowned educationist and philanthropist who founded the Shadan Educational Society (SES) to promote minority and underprivileged education in Hyderabad.

Contribution: Under his guidance, SES established the Shadan College of Engineering and Technology (SCET) in 1995, the first minority engineering college affiliated with JNTUH.

Vision: Dr. Rasool Khan's vision emphasizes quality technical education, research, and student empowerment, enabling thousands of students to succeed academically and professionally while contributing to societal development.

From Humble Beginnings to Excellence

Initial Courses: At its inception, SCET started with core engineering programs and has steadily expanded its offerings over the years.

Current Programs: Today, SCET offers 8 B.Tech programs including emerging specializations like Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Science, along with traditional engineering disciplines.

Student Intake: The college currently has an intake of approximately 630 students across all B.Tech programs.
