General Conduct Rules
Discipline
Students must maintain discipline, good behavior, and respect toward faculty, staff, and peers.
Any form of ragging, harassment, or misconduct is strictly prohibited (punishable under law per the Ragging Prohibition Act).
Attendance
Minimum 75% attendance in every subject is mandatory to be eligible for semester examinations.
Shortage of attendance below 65% is not condoned under JNTUH regulations.
Students with attendance between 65–74% may be considered for condonation with valid reasons and a fee.
Dress Code
Formal and decent attire is expected on campus.
Some departments may require lab coats or uniforms during lab sessions.
ID cards must be worn at all times inside the campus.
Punctuality
Students must arrive before the first bell; late entry to class/lab is generally not allowed.
Repeated tardiness can lead to disciplinary action.
Academic Rules
Internal Assessment
Internal marks are based on assignments, quizzes, lab work, and internal exams.
Students must secure a satisfactory score in sessional tests to qualify for external exams.
Examinations
Students must strictly adhere to exam hall rules and avoid malpractice.
Possession of mobile phones, notes, or electronic gadgets is banned during exams.
Project and Seminars
Final-year students must complete project work under faculty supervision and submit reports as per JNTUH deadlines.
Plagiarism or copied work is subject to disciplinary action.
Campus and Facilities Use
Library Rules
Maintain silence and avoid misuse of books or computers.
Late return of books results in fines.
Laboratory Rules
Handle equipment carefully. Damage due to negligence must be compensated.
Internet and Device Use
Use college Wi-Fi/computers only for academic purposes; misuse (e.g., social media or gaming) is restricted.
Prohibited Activities
Ragging (inside or outside campus) — Zero tolerance.
Smoking, alcohol, or drugs — Strictly banned.
Vandalism or misuse of college property.
Political or unauthorized gatherings without prior approval.
Grievance and Support
Students can approach the Head of Department (HoD), Principal, or the Anti-Ragging/Grievance Committee for help regarding academics or personal issues.
Regular feedback mechanisms are available for student concerns.

No Plagiarism
Always give credit for information or ideas taken from other sources.
Follow Moderators
Respect the decisions and guidance of forum moderators or admins.
Report Misconduct
If you see abusive or inappropriate posts, report them instead of replying.
Constructive Participation
Share helpful opinions, ask thoughtful questions, and support positive discussion.
Follow College Code
Forum behavior should reflect the same discipline expected on campus.
